From top to bottom, this custom build was strategically planned with homeowners lifestyle in mind. Sandy and Ken Reinhard requested their new home take full advantage of this spectacular property on Kent Island. The house was designed with a large expanse of windows, a screen porch and a “Sunset Room” with balcony to maximize views that include the majestic Chesapeake Bay, Gibson Island and sunsets over the iconic Bay Bridge. Taking cues from local lighthouses, the home features a central winding stairway that leads to the Belvedere, where osprey can be observed diving for their dinner. Above, the two car garage is Ken’s Studio where he designs world renown award-winning furniture. The basement houses a fully equipped woodworking shop where Ken builds furniture as well as ceramics and stained glass.
